These Zebras were so sweet, I love the way the mama is standing over her baby while he (or she) is resting and I love the contrast between those bold, graphic strips and the earthy tones of the grass.
We spotted these while touring through Wildlife Safari in Roseburg, OR. The kids love that we are in the cars while the animals go free and I always wonder why the animals don't really mingle amongst themselves. They could, after all, but it seems that you never see a giraffe hanging out with the Zebras or a yak hanging out with the camel. Maybe they are like people and like to stick to their own kind.
