Miss E has been asking to walk home from school for awhile now but it's about a mile and I always seem to have Mr. T or someplace to go which makes it an unattractive option. However, when Peter and I picked her up at school today we parked half-way away from our house walked to pick her up. It was a really sweet time with just her and us and we walked the paths through parks in our neighborhood to get back to the car and while we did that we talked about school and our mornings and stopped and poked at orange slugs. It was one of my favorite parts of today.
